Playing tag is a short performance involving two drones that are programmed to follow each other.
A balloon attached to each drone as a target of the object-tracking function also causes malfunction by destabilizing the flying objects and impairing their sensors.
The result is a series of short performances always dictated by the exact same sequence of moves, and yet inevitably random and different, systematically ending in a collision.
The buzz and brusk moves of the drones convey a feel of reciprocal aggression that is not without reminding of rooster fights in Réunion Island.
