Amandine Alessandra is a London based photographer and graphic designer.

After a Masters in Fine Arts & Aesthetics from the Université de Provence in 2003, she moved to the UK where she runs a photographic practice since 2007 and graduated with a Masters in Graphic Design from the London College of Communication in 2009.

She has worked on social-media based award winning campaigns for Havas Worldwide, developed a visual identity for the University of the Arts London and a textile collection for Selfridges, created an organic typeface for ALSTOM Paris and more recently a performance-based campaign for WWF Earth Hour Campaign in Berlin.

A co-founder of Tower Block Books, an independent publishing company, Amandine is also a contributor to publications by Gestalten, Rotovision, Mark Batty, Laurence King, as well as Slanted and Wired magazines.

She has worked as a lecturer at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts of Beirut, Lebanon, at the Universities of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, and more recently at the London College of Communication.

She also organises playful typographic workshops for the likes of the Victoria & Albert Museum, Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication and the University of the Arts London.
